About our routes: We have spent many happy hours riding around Ireland to find the very best motorbike roads. They have been refined over three years to produce the daily routes you will find stored on the GPS fitted to each bike.
Day One - Counties Antrim & Londonderry County Antrim County Antrim is one of the most beautiful counties in Northern Ireland, with its Irish Sea coast and the majestic Glens of Antrim. Your route takes you along the world famous Causeway Coastal Route which was named
one of the 20 best drives in the world. The route hugs the coastline for 100 miles and on a clear day you can see Scotland. Along the way you can stop off at the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge and test your head for heights, before visiting the Old Bushmills Whiskey Distillery. Opened a few years ago in 1608, it is the oldest whiskey distillery in the world. Further along is the Giant's Causeway, a unique rock formation which draws over 700,000 visitors per year. Legend has it that it was built by a giant called Finn MacCool who challenged a Scottish giant to a fight and didn't want his rival to have any excuse not to come.Day Two - County Donegal
County Donegal is in the far north-west of Ireland and has a unique landscape. It is quite sparsely populated, with empty roads and dramatic scenery.
Your route will take you around the Inishowen Peninsula to its very tip, Malin Head. This is Ireland's most northerly point, where the wild Atlantic meets the Irish Sea. Further along you will pass through Glenveagh National Park, which lies in the heart of the Derryveagh Mountains. It is a remote and hauntingly beautiful wilderness of rugged mountains and pristine lakes. Further still, you will meet the wild Atlantic coast where, in Winter, huge waves driven by Atlantic storms pound the shore . This coast has miles of golden beaches which are totally deserted. If you have a head for heights, you can visit the Slieve League Sea Cliffs, the highest in Europe. Then go for a spin on exciting, twisty roads through the Blue Stack Mountains . Day Three - Counties Sligo & Mayo
Mayo was one of the counties hardest hit by the Irish Famine and it suffered mass depopulation. On the coast you will visit Achill Island, 
the biggest island in Ireland, which has a great circuit called the Atlantic Drive. See the big Atlantic rollers break on the coast and remember the next parish west is New York! Day Four - County Galway - Connemara
As you pass the rugged Twelve Bens mountain range in the north, go through lake-rich Roundstone Bog and admire the golden beaches reaching out into the Atlantic Ocean, you'll know you're in Connemara by the light that constantly changes the mood and tone of the landscape. Connemara has long been regarded as the 'real' emerald of Ireland. Highlights like 'The Famine Village', a restored village deserted at the time of the Irish famine, the world famous Kylemore Abbey and Connemara National Park all add to the haunting landscape. 
In the north is Croagh Patrick, a pyramid shaped mountain where Saint Patrick is said to have banished snakes from Ireland. It must have worked because to this day we have no wild snakes! Day Five - Counties Clare, Limerick & Kerry
To the north of the county, the rugged Atlantic coast rises nearly 700 feet above the sea at the Cliffs of Moher. A couple of miles away, you'll find an amazing karst limestone region called the Burren, which features caves, underground streams and rare alpine flora. The area also has plenty of fascinating archaeological sites, including the 5000-year-old Poulnabrone Dolmen. The day finishes with a trip over the Connor Pass on the Dingle Peninsula.
Day Six - County Kerry
What to say about County Kerry or the 'Kingdom of Kerry', as it is known?! It is by far the most dramatic landscape you will see in Ireland and certainly the most beautiful. The main features are its three peninsulas, Dingle, Iveargh and Beara, which have distinct characteristics. From soaring mountains to golden beaches, to alpine landscapes and sub tropical flora due to the gulf stream, they have it all. Not to mention McGillicuddy's Reeks, the mountain range which dominates the county. You will explore all three peninsulas, visiting the famous Ring of Kerry and places like the Tim Healey Pass. This county will blow you away! Day Seven - Rest Day
A chance to catch your breath and have a day away from the bike in one of County Kerry’s prettiest villages.
Days Eight & Nine - The Heartland of Ireland
As you start to travel home, you will be cutting diagonally across the very centre of Ireland. This is an area rarely travelled by the tourist buses of the west coast. It will give you a glimpse into the life of everyday Ireland. From the bogs to the plains, no visit would be complete without seeing the 'Heart of Ireland' .
