Customer Testimonials

Hear what our customers have to say about our motorbike hire and tours of Ireland and the other services we provide. If you would like to speak with any of these people let us know and we will put you in touch.

I cannot stress enough how great Irish Motorcycle Adventures is for touring Ireland on a motorbike, their staff were courteous, informative, and trustworthy. They graciously gave us a free lift out of Dublin, which meant we didn't have to learn to "drive on the left" in the chaos of the big city. They met with us to explain everything about the bike and suggest places we might want to see, even though we were touring on our own (as we had requested). In all of this, there were no hidden charges or fees; everything they promised us, Irish Motorcycle Adventures delivered (and then some). We never had ANY problems with the bike, even though we toured over 1,000 miles in 9 days. Irish Motorcycle Adventures clearly gave careful consideration to the type of bike that would work best for navigating the twisty, sometimes unpaved, roads of Ireland. We often escaped the crush of the tourist crowd by dodging onto back roads, which is something you can't do with a cruiser-style bike. If you want the freedom of the road and the assurance of a dependable dealer, Irish Motorcycle Adventures should be your only call.

I had flexible dates for a visit to Ireland and contacted Irish Motorcycle Adventures. He picked me up from the airport, hired me a fabulous motorbike, gave me all the best routes and advice and I joined my chums touring the North coast. Excellent scenery, perfect weather and good company...what more could you want? Great service, and thanks for all your help. I'll be back this summer.

A great experience from start to finish ! Nothing was a problem and from the airport pick-up to drop-off, Stephen's great, no fuss approach enabled us to relax and enjoy the trip. Stephen was more than happy to offer advice on potential routes and stop-overs, which really helped us get the most from our, only too brief, visit. Thanks and here's to next time !

I would be delighted to recommend Irish Motorcycle Adventures - Stephen was more than happy to answer our questions/queries before the trip, the service was outstanding including airport pick up/drop off etc, the bikes were in perfect condition with fitted sat nav's - coastal/tourist routes all installed. We had a fantastic trip, Ireland is a bikers dream. Superb!

Very accommodating, I got the dates wrong and there was no additional charge for rescheduling. He picked me up on time, very friendly. The bike was set up nice with a tank bag and GPS. I have been on many tours and this may be one of the best! When I ride Scotland, I will rent the bike, from Irish Motorcycle Adventures.

It was a pleasure to work with Stephen of IrishBike.com. He showed up on time, with the two well-maintained BMW GS's we had reserved, and he was helpful and supportive throughout. I can recommend Irish Motorcycle Adventures without reservation.

Travelling Ireland on the back of a very well prepared BMW GS from Irish Motorcycle Adventures was an amazing experience. Stephen took much care to let this trip become just perfect. When our Garmin GPS got damaged during the trip when we were many miles from his base he stopped by the very next morning to replace it. We had just a great time, thanks Stephen.

Just a note to say I really appreciated the service you offer, and the bike was "top notch". I would, and will, let people know about the positive experience that I had using your service.

Those of you wanting to go on a biking trip with a rented bike in Ireland you are in good hands at Irish Motorcycle Adventures. Stephen makes you feel at home immediately, gets you acquainted with the bike - there is no better way to get started. That's the moment you realize your decision to rent your bike from this place has been right. Stephen's recommendations concerning nice routes and places to go are fantastic and best of all, most of it is at your fingertips with those routes already stored in the first class satellite navigation systems mounted on the bikes. With hindsight it was one of the coolest tours we have undertaken. We warmly recommend Irish Motorcycle Adventures service orientation and his bikes in absolutely pristine condition to any passionate biker. You literally can't do business in a better way and being the customer you really feel comfortable. Go for it guys, you will not regret it.

I hired a BMW GS 1200 from irish Motorcycle Adventures to ride right around Ireland solo in July-August 2009. Stephen delivered it exactly when he said he would, and his wife had already made sure by email I had a list of hotels that suited my needs in Belfast. The bike was in perfect condition, the panniers had all the room I needed for all my gear and I was even offered a selection of seats to ensure I was comfortable and the bike suited my leg stretch. He knew what I wanted to do and set up the GPS with routes that showed me glorious places I probably wouldn't have been able to find myself. He also suggested a terrific and very remote pub where I stayed on my first leg of the journey. I rode more than 2000 kilometres, mostly around the coast, and the machine never missed a beat. And even if something had gone awry (unlikely on a bike like this), I knew all I had to do was call and help would be on the way. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Irish Motorcycle Adventures, and I hope to come back and do it all again some day.

Ireland is a very nice place. And there are nice and reliable people like Stephen and Linzi. The booking via internet worked perfectly. The lodgings recommended by Linzi were great. Stephen picked us up at the hotel and we could receive perfectly prepared Bikes with lots of storage place for our luggage. Before starting our trip around Ireland Stephen gave us some Information about places of interest. Equipped with Garmin Zumo GPS we have had no problems, to find all of them. Our first intention was to visit Mr. Finn McCool, but he was not at home. Anyway, we were impressed with giants causeway. To ride a bike makes thirsty. Bushmills Distillery was able to help us. The next few days we passed many wonderful coastal-places like Donegal and Achill Island before we came to the imposing Cliffs of Moher. The next travel destination was Dingle, and we can say, the two days in Dingle have been great, not alone because Fungi, the Dingle Bay Dolphin expected us with a show. After driving around the Ring of Kerry our next target was Midleton. Time flies above all if driving around Ireland with a bike. And so we had after 11 days with unforgettable impressions and all kind of weather to bring back the bikes to Stephens home. After we had met our good friend Arthur Guinness in his storehouse and we had crafted The Perfect Pint of Guinness, our Job in Ireland was done and we could return to good old Austria, a wonderful place too, especially for bikers.

The service was good, and the bike ran great. I would not hesitate to use your bikes again if I decide to visit Ireland on another one of my trips. I would recommend anyone that is thinking of doing a bike tour of Ireland contact Irish Motorcycle Adventures to ensure that they get good bikes and even better service.
